The first event that has made South central what it is today is the Watts riots.It is important because the event of the Watts riots it lead people having rights to do what white people could do.It is also important because of the watts riots blacks and Latinos could now go to places they weren’t allowed to go.I choose this because this event made a big impact in Watts.
The second event that has made South Central what it is today is the LA riots.This event is important because fighting for the rights you have makes LA what it is today.That is what blacks and Latinos fighting for.I choose this event because i think this made a big impact in LA and people life.Not only the rights they were fighting for but also the respect they wanted.
The third event that made South Central what it is today is Immigration.This event was important because Immigrants came to LA because of war in their Country.They had to make a choice to go to LA for jobs to get money.This is also important because armies will take all 12 year old kids to be force to join the army and they wanted to get away from that by coming to LA.I choose this event because this made a big impact on immigrents that would come to LA to help their family.
